I Lied

Sooooo... I guess I am leaving Blogger. It’s been a nice little run posting my stories on here for the past 6-7 years but it’s just too quiet on this blog site for me. I get way more story views on WattPad. So yes, I’m now using WattPad more. I currently have three stories published, two of which that are already posted on my blog here: Murphy and Jolen and Roommates (which is getting the most views). I’m also publishing my very newest story that I haven’t posted on here which is Thinking About You. Thinking About You is my favorite story as of right now so if you want to check it out I will have my profile linked down below (if for some reason the link doesn’t work my user name is MichaLiza). So, yeah, since I’m on WattPad I will no longer post on this blog page but I will keep it up. Like I said, it’s been fun but the action is over on WattPad πŸ‘‡πŸΎπŸ‘‡πŸΎπŸ‘‡πŸΎ

A Short Trip

As the buzzer was going off the noise coming from everywhere in the gymnasium could be heard over it. The crowd cheering and yelling, the female's step team coming onto the floor after the basketball players cleared it, and even the gossip coming out of Tiana's mouth. I bet she's still talking about me. She's had the biggest crush on me since this past year and since I won't give her any play, she runs her mouth. 'Derek is sleeping with Mrs. Ambers to get a good grade', she'd say. 'Derek has a baby mama in the next town, that's why he doesn't date any of the girls here.' She'll go on and I always have to shut her down. I glanced down the bleachers to my right. She's there and staring at me. I roll my eyes in my mind and just look away slowly. My boy plays for our high school basketball team. Our uniforms are red. I catch sight of Shan in the number 3. Three was his favorite number just because. It's a coincidence ...

The Point

HOT TOPIC Another metal song came on from the speakers above me. I look up at them. My eyes travel down and straight ahead to a figure that was approaching me. Ginger. She was coming at me with her mascara running down her cheeks, her head down, crying and wiping at her black tears. Her yellow, blond hair flew behind her from side to side. In her sleeveless, not-covering-her-stomach, David Bowie from The Hunger t-shirt and torn black skinny jeans and combat boots, she strides towards me with powerful steps. She was highly upset. Shit. What now? She bumps her arm against mines and turns to face me. "She's a bitch," she exhales. "Tangy?" I take a wild guess. "Yeah, I caught her with some chick. They looked like they were on a date." I believed that Ginger was on the sensitive side. Tangy was always cheating on her. "Maybe she was with a cousin," I say as I eye the bracelets on the bracelet rack. "No, they were holding hands." ...

The Social Circle

So, I was going through some things in my closet and I found a photo of my whole graduation class. This made me go back and look through my yearbook at my past classmates. When I was in middle school there were these "popular white girls" that I and a few of my friends called "preps". They were the girls that were white, popular, looked rich, and wore Aeropostale and what not. So as I was looking at the photo I noticed the "popular girls", they were all wearing white in the photo and they stood out. I counted them. There were like 30-ish of them. This gave me an inspiration to write a fictional story about 30 white and Italian, there are a bunch of Italians in my area, girls. I had fun with creating names, looks, and personalities for these characters (which I always like to do). I didn't know whether I was going to stick it out and continue writing it (I always abandon most of my stories, like "Distractions", check older post about this stor...
